Habitat for Humanity's mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting Home Ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty. We believe that access to safe, decent and affordable housing is a basic human right that should be available to all.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, corporations, faith groups and foundations, Habitat for Humanity Toronto has completed over 100 homes for families living in need in Toronto to date, which include 19 energy efficient townhouses on Kingston Road.

We are also proud to be an innovator in the nonprofit sector that 100% of our operating and administrative costs are covered by the revenue generated by our retail operation, The Habitat Toronto ReStore. This means we are able to direct every dollar donated to our organization to home building.
